Sam Ash Music Store located at 3131 Capital Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27604 is a great destination for Guitars, Electronic Music making, and has a limited Band area. I was disappointed in what they offer for Clarinet - accessories of Jean Baptiste, which are to me total junk…… they had a couple of Woodwind Mouthpieces but not remotely a decent selection, and the Sheet Music for winds was abysmal. I expected a lot, lot more from the store!! Sales person was nice as well as the Manager, but come on, have a decent selection here please.
I recently visited Sam Ash on New Year's Eve and was blown away by the exceptional customer service I received. Despite being short-staffed, the team went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. The drums specialist, who wasn't even an audio expert, took the time to help me find the perfect mic stand and attachment to fit my mic. They even tried out the accessories on display products to ensure they matched my needs. I had ordered a mic cover online and picked it up in-store, but the team didn't stop there. They made sure I left with everything I needed to get started. Sam Ash's hands-on approach and dedication to customer satisfaction are truly impressive. I highly recommend this store for anyone looking for music gear and expert advice.
Love it here. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and professional . Caleb was awesome and helped me with a vintage Casio that I bought. The team also helped me with my gear that I sold. I got fair value for my instruments and couldn’t be happier. They have a great selection of premium instruments and the store is super clean. Will be coming here for all my music needs moving forward.
Had a great experience at the store.. The salesperson that helped us was really helpful, professionally answered questions I had and gave me some great suggestions and information on the instrument I was looking for. The store is amazing as well, great selection of instruments for all budgets (I even came across some I wasn’t expecting to find there). Left the store with a brand new guitar and violin.

I enjoy staying longer and trying new instruments but I had to run on that particular day and I have to say I was out very fast!

What I enjoy the most about my purchases was the interaction with the staff. Logan was extremely helpful with my guitar and keyboard purchases.
I was impressed that he was quick to call on another staff member when I started asking about horns. Caleb was very informative about the horns and has the heart of a teacher.

I brought my kids into Sam Ash yesterday ages 2-11 y.o. They had a great time. The associate that was working in the brass instrument section was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and helped my son and I with our questions about his trumpet. He was very nice. He even gave him some pointers on how to oik his instrument.
I just happened to pull into the parking lot to make a u-turn after leaving a different guitar store where my daughter and I wasn’t helped or even acknowledged. I saw the name and said that name sounds familiar anyway as soon as we walked in Sam Ash the lady greeted us and asked if we needed help, she called an associate and he was awesome. I hadn’t planned on spending the amount I spent but because they were so welcoming I went ahead and purchased the guitar from here. The associate even tuned it for us. Would definitely go back!!!!
